Two podcasts you MUST listen to
Firstly – I’m not a doctor! Just one of those things that has to be said apparently when talking about health in a public arena.
However that doesn’t mean that I can’t share all the research that I find when it comes to health. As you are aware Health is one of the main ‘Points’ or ‘Pillars’ in fulfilling a successful life.
Below are two shows that I watch/listen to religiously – in my opinion these are the two most informative and comprehensive podcasts that I have come across. I will be sharing many things from them via this blog but be sure to add them to your bookmarks and tune in whenever they are on as well!
Underground Wellness – Sean Croxton
A daily video blog, weekly radio show and regularly updated you tube channel on all things to do with health. The author Sean Croxton is a champion for holistic methods (basically prevent the problems rather than cure after you are ill!) and states on his site that he has a “lifelong love of fitness and health and dreams to revolutionize the way THE WORLD thinks about health.”… In my opinion he’s doing a great job!

Livin’ la vida low-carb – Jimmy Moore
This is a weekly and sometimes daily 1hr audio podcast show that is “Controversial, edgy, straightforward and opinionated… about getting healthy on the low-carb lifestyle. Following his amazing 180+ pound low-carb weight loss success in 2004, Jimmy has been on a one-man mission to tell the whole world what livin’ la vida low-carb can do for them.” Jimmy is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to nutrition and has a different guest on each podcast many of which are experts in their field of nutrition. I first came across this blog when I was looking to help someone close to me resolve their high cholesterol problem. At the time of writing, the podcast is on episode 350 which gives you some idea into how much research you can do on this site alone.
